37: MICHAEL HUXLEY: Starting an institute of Make-up and getting it endorsed as a territory education provider
Michael is a multi award winning creative with over 10 years experience working on major projects and productions throughout Australia and overseas. Within the the last 12months alone, Michael has lead teams in BoraBora, Hawaii, and Japan working on campaigns for companies including Village Road Show Movie Makers, L’Oreal x Balmain cosmetics, TerryWhite, Saski, Eye Of Horus, Lorna Jane, Kryolan, Moana Bikini, and many more. Michael was also the makeup director for the official 2018 Commonwealth Games, running the department which created hair and makeup looks for over 7000 people, including athletes, pro cast, mass cast and headline talent. Michael is also the founder of the prestigious Huxley School of Makeup which is both industry and government endorsed as a preferred territory education provider and the Number 1 industry ranked makeup school in Australia and Asia Pacific with graduates working in all aspects of this creative industry including; film, fashion, bridal and cosmetics industries.
